OPEN MIC NIGHT

A charming new play written by New York based playwright Justin Jay Gray.
After 5 years of some highs and mostly lows running the Charity Café’s weekly open mic night, songwriter Ben has grown complacent and tired of the same old routine. The cast includes Emily Tullock as Sophia, Chris Ledda as Ben and Mike Regan as Wyatt. Directed and filmed by Matt Kohler onstage at CCTC/HJT. A Cultural Exchange with students from St. Anne’s School in Brooklyn, hosted by their teacher; Nancy Reardan Flynn and Nina Schuessler. Will and Friends from Brooklyn is a compilation of monologues from William Shakespeare’s plays performed by students.

Singer-songwriter Michael Paul Brennan returns to the Cape direct from Nashville to perform on the CCTC/HJT stage especially for you. Michael moved back to the Cape recently after living in Nashville, TN for the past three years, pursuing songwriting. He appeared in 6 Episodes on the final season of ‘Nashville’ as a recurring extra.
