OPEN MIC NIGHT

A charming new play written by New York based playwright Justin Jay Gray.
After 5 years of some highs and mostly lows running the Charity Café’s weekly open mic night, songwriter Ben has grown complacent and tired of the same old routine. The cast includes Emily Tullock as Sophia, Chris Ledda as Ben and Mike Regan as Wyatt. Directed and filmed by Matt Kohler onstage at CCTC/HJT. WILL AND FRIENDS from Brooklyn

A Cultural Exchange with students from St. Anne’s School in Brooklyn, hosted by their teacher; Nancy Reardan Flynn and Nina Schuessler. Will and Friends from Brooklyn is a compilation of monologues from William Shakespeare’s plays performed by students.

MAIREAD DOHERTY was born in County Tipperary Ireland and graduated from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin in Irish Harp studies. RICHARD JAY SULLIVAN is a member of Actor’s Equity Association and has performed in and directed many productions all over Cape Cod and off Broadway.

MICHAEL PAUL BRENNAN

Singer-songwriter Michael Paul Brennan returns to the Cape direct from Nashville to perform on the CCTC/HJT stage especially for you. Michael moved back to the Cape recently after living in Nashville, TN for the past three years, pursuing songwriting. He appeared in 6 Episodes on the final season of ‘Nashville’ as a recurring extra.

SUE MELLEN – A History of Theater on Cape Cod

Sue Mellen tells us about her new book, A History of Theater on Cape Cod and paints a vivid picture of the early years of American drama on the culture-rich peninsula.

JUST GIVE ME A MINUTE

A 10-minute play by Susan Kosoff. Just Give Me A Minute stars Jane Staab and Carryl Lynn as two good friends, in their declining years, try to figure out whether to pool their resources and join forces.

Midsummer Night of Songs and Words Virtual CABARET

Talented veteran and young performers who graced our stage in recent productions. Performers include Karen McPherson, Shae McSharry , Samantha Walker, Gracie O’Leary, Bridget Williams, Katie Buckley, Anna Shantz and Shiloh Pabst.

VOICES OF POETRY – A NIGHT OF STARS

Featuring four outstanding poets: former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky, Andrea Cohen, Charles Harper, Krysten Hill and Gail Mazur. Also featuring acclaimed sax/reed player Bruce Abbott performing solo and with some very talented friends.
