Audition

A new adaptation written and directed by Brian Lore Evans.Inspired by Bram Stoker’s novel and reworked from the stageplay by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston.

Perhaps you’ve heard of vampires, of things that lurk in shadow, but do you truly know them? Can one know that which lies beyond? Join professor and scientist Abraham Van Helsing as he delves into the story of Count Dracula, king of vampires, in search of an answer.

All are welcome to audition! Seeking teens and adults of all genders, races, abilities.

Bring yourselves and a sense of play! No need to prepare anything. Please wear clothes you are comfortable moving in and bring a water bottle.

5:45-7:00

Please arrive promptly at 5:45 to fill our audition sheets and sign in. Group auditions begin at 6pm. Please expect to be with us until 7pm to learn some simple ensemble movement and play some group theatre games.

7:00-8:30

Please arrive promptly at 7:00 to fill our audition sheets and sign in. Ensemble work begins at 7:15, followed by reading from sides. Please expect to be with us until 8:30.

Callbacks will be held Monday, June 17 from 6:00-8:30.

The Jester is the face of the theatre in the summertime. Come audition to be one of our 2024 Jesters or Jester Juniors! Welcome families to summer shows, interact with kids and families pre-show and during intermission, and introduce the show to our summer audiences.
