Come prepared to play and read sides. Bring your imaginations! Please wear clothes you are comfortable moving in.

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella
Music by Richard Rodgers, Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein ll, New Book by Douglas Carter Beane, Original Book by Oscar Hammerstein ll, Orchestrations by Danny Troob, Music Adaptation & Arrangements by David Chase.
This 2013 Broadway adaptation of the classic tale features Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane. Winner of Nine 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Book of a Musical and Best Revival of a Musical.
Join us as we reimagine the first show the Harwich Junior Theatre produced, and be a part of our 75th Anniversary Season!

Please come prepared to play, learn some simple choreography, read sides, and sing 16 bars of an up-tempo tune.

For virtual auditions, please submit a one minute dramatic monologue, a one minute comic monologue, and 16 bars of a song within your range. Preferably, prepare something from the musical theatre cannon, not a pop song. If you’re not sure what to sing, “In My Own Little Corner” from Cinderella works well.
