“I regard theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.” – Oscar Wilde

The arts are an essential facet of our human state. The Cape Cod Theatre Company forges innovative community partnerships that provide access to the performing arts – and enable people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and experience the magic and power of this “greatest of all art forms.”

People benefit from the shared creation and experience of theatre – whether they are watching a performance, creating art, or learning skills that naturally empower and inspire.

We bring the arts into our community and enrich curriculums through our outreach and theatre in the classroom programs. The Arts Center is an active hub for year-round programming including workshops, experimental theatre and touring events, as well as community gatherings and open mic coffee houses. And, of course, our school matinees offer students access to high-quality staged productions and musicals that depict relevant themes, classic literature, and deliver the experience of live theatre.
